TECHNICAL DIRECTOR BROADWAY ROSE THEATRE COMPANY

Broadway Rose Theatre Company is a Professional Theatre Company in the Portland Metro Area. BRTC manages 2 spaces " BRTC New Stage" and the "Deb fennel" during the summer. BRTC consistantly puts on high quality shows and has a hell of a talented team putting it all together.
Responsibilities:
1. Create engineered drawings from designer images
2. Create material & labor budget sheet
3. keep production timeline on schedule
4. Hire carpenters / Electricians
5. Order/pick up materials
6. Manage scenic charge
7. Oversee & Build Set

8. Operate CNC Machine
9. Maintain & manage scene shop 
10. Plan install/strike
11. Accommodate all notes from designers

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR ENSEMBLE THEATRE COMPANY SANTA BARBARA (ETCSB)-(AT THE NEW VIC THEATRE)

Ensemble Theatre Company Santa Barbara (ETCSB) is the only professional production house in Santa Barbara. Following Actors Equity guidelines, this company showcases impressive plays with scenic elements that push its crew and the boundaries of the facility itself, always striving for that "wow" moment.

Camelot Theatre is a Community Playhouse in Talent Oregon. This quaint little theatre lives up to its tagline "Where Broadway meets Talent"

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR “SENSING THE ARTS THEATRE CO.”

Sensing The Arts Theatre CO. Is a Non-profit I CO-founded to bring the arts to the Deaf Community. I am an Interpreter in training and have a heavy involvement with the Deaf Community and decided to create a place for Deaf Artists and performers to showcase their work! Since the pandemic we have had 2 shows. Both incorporated the technique of “Shadow Interpreting”. 

Responsibilities:

1. Work with Translaters to covert scripts into GLOSS ASL.

2. Teach script to Signing Actors.

3.Create engineered drawings from designer images.

4. Oversee & Build Set.

5. manage Set Load in/out

6. Manage transportation of Scenic elements.

FELLOWSHIP OF THE STAGE “CO-FOUNDER”

FOTS is an organization of theatre leadership  that meets once a month to find ways to aid in our Production efforts. We share stock goods, templates, contact information, and resources. We aim to build a tech theater community willing to help each other in and out of any jam you might be in.

BFA TECHNICAL DIRECTION STUDENT

Southern Oregon University BFA Technical Direction Program, focused on one definition of what being a TD is.

1. Turn designer drawings into Engineered Draftings.

2. Make & Interpret Technical Drawings.

3. Plan a production build schedule.

4. Create a budget sheet

5. Train new carpenters

6. Lead crews in set construction

7. manage load in/install of set.

8. plan and oversee strike.

maintain a clean organized scene shop.

9. follow all  OSHA safety guidelines.

10. Be diverse in this field because picking up slack for others is just part of this  career.
